What this checker looks at
It fetches the page like a search engine would and checks the basics that most often go wrong: the title tag, meta description, a single clear H1, a self-referencing canonical, indexability (noindex tags and wrong canonicals), mobile viewport, language, image alt text, structured data, Open Graph tags, content depth, response time and HTML size.
What it can't tell you
It checks one page, not your whole site. It doesn't measure real-user Core Web Vitals, backlinks or how well your content matches search intent — and no tool can predict rankings. For field performance data, use Google's PageSpeed Insights, and for index coverage use Google Search Console.
Fix these first
- Indexability — an accidental noindex or a canonical pointing elsewhere can remove a page from Google entirely.
- Titles and H1s — they tell searchers and Google what the page is about.
- Meta descriptions — they don't rank pages, but a clear one earns more clicks.
- Alt text — accessibility first, image search second.
